Hormonal evaluation of the male
The hormonal evaluation of the male can be carried out at any time, but I recommend that it be performed around the time of the semen analysis. It consists of drawing blood for free and total testosterone, TSH, free T3, free T4, prolactin, FSH and LH. The results it may explain a low or poor sperm count.
